There are many beaches in and around Parga, each offering something unique and helping to promote our area as a superb destination.
The impressive bay of Ai Giannakis can be found 5 km outside of Parga, close to the village of Agia Kyriaki. The bay’s beach, which can be reached by car, is not particularly long, yet it attracts those who seek its quiet solitude and crystal-clear waters. It is the ideal place to relax and truly enjoy a swim, surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery.
What makes this place special, is the freshwater spring that emerges from the seafloor in the center of the bay. The water is transported underground from the nearby lake in Kalodiki, known among locals as “the waterlily lake”.
