The main beach of Parga, Kryoneri, is at the left side of the town. If you enter through the first entrance of the city which you meet by coming from the national street Igoumenitsa - Preveza you will find it there. There is another beach in the town, smaller, the Back Kryoneri, but I write about that in a separate message. Above the beach there is the road that leads you again out of the city necessarily, since cars are not allowed on the main pedestrian street of the harbor. Along the road you will find plenty of coffee bars, although the largest is the corner one at the beginning of the road. Being in the city and having such a sandy beach so close, directly accessible is certainly a great asset for Parga. Tourists staying in rooms hired in the city do not have to run far for a swim in the sea. Thus, the beach is almost always full of people. Its water deepens rather steeply but it is pleasing for swimming. The islet of Panagia, just a few minutes away, if you rent a sea bike, as well as the very small and isolated area's sandy beaches hidden behind the wild rocks. You can also make a stop to plunge in front of the imposing rocks, Skordas and Kremmidas.
